3/8″–5/8″ twin insulated copper pipe combines 9.52 mm and 15.87 mm pre-insulated copper pipes for professional refrigerant line installations in air conditioning and heat pump systems. Supplied in a 20 m, it is suitable for split systems using R32, R410A and R407C refrigerants.
The copper pipes are protected by flexible, low-density closed-cell polyethylene foam insulation with high resistance to water vapour diffusion. This helps prevent condensation from forming on the pipe surface when refrigerant temperatures are below the surrounding air temperature while providing effective thermal insulation.
An extruded, embossed white PE-LD outer film provides additional mechanical protection during handling and installation. The insulation material is non-toxic, odourless and CFC-free, while its flexibility facilitates routing and installation of refrigerant pipework.
